IF YOU ARE IN THE SUN, BE IN THE KNOW
If you are going to be in the sun, the Skin Cancer Foundation recommends applying sunscreen liberally, uniformly, and frequently. They say "reapply sunscreen every two hours and right after swimming." The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends SPFs of 15, which block 93 percent of UVB, so higher SPF ratings are not necessary unless you are especially at risk.
